Today, I'll talk about Japanese and British houses. Traditional houses in Japan are made from woods, and usually one-storied houses. This is it.
However British houses are made from stone. Brick houses were so cute! And as you know, in japan we take off our shoes. So we have the halls. I have known this difference, so I wasn't surprised. But in apartment case, I found surpriseing diference. Japanese apartments usually have stairs outside. On the other hand, British apartmants usually have stairs inside because they don't have the halls.
As stated above, there are many differences. Some Bitish people don't know about japanese houses. I want them to know more♪ That's all! Good-bye:D
I@ve lived in both types of houses, but now my house is a hybrid between western and Japanese style. I like the mix. But, I still take my shoes off when I enter my house or any house. I just makes sense.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting!
ReplyDeleteThere are many differences between Japan and foreign countries. The front doors in Japan often open outward but one in other countries often do inward. It's a big difference! And houses in US have basement and a three-storied. How about houses in UK? I want to see brick houses(^^)☆!
I think row of brick houses is cute and beautiful. I want to look them actually with my eyes. Are there other differents except for materials?
